Dive deep into the spiritual core of India by exploring aspects of both Hinduism and Buddhism. Participate in the incredible International Yoga Festival at Parmarth Niketan Ashram. This event showcases the highest quality teachers and renowned Swamis from all over India and the globe. While in Rishikesh, visit children at a school, hike to Neelkanth temple, explore the Beatles Ashram and take a dip in the Holy Ganges River. Travel to Agra, home of the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, two historical monuments of immense proportions. Finish up in Dharamsala, amongst the Himalayas, to immerse yourself in Buddhist and Tibetan culture. Meditate at the Dalai Lama's residence and temple, hike in the Himalayas, take a cooking class and visit a Buddhist Cultural Center. Visit with an exhiled Tibetan translator, a high-ranking Lama and an Indian family. Excluding the Yoga Festival, your leader Holbrook will teach a daily morning vinyasa yoga class (schedule permitting).
