Redback Travels does not provide any cash or credit card refunds. If a
refund is to be given, we will send you a check. Exceptions to this
policy cannot be made for any reason including personal emergencies.
Travelers may transfer their payment to another trip up to 90 days prior
to departure with no penalty. After 90 days, travelers are subject to
the normal cancellation charges.
The following cancellation charges apply:
1) Non-refundable cancellation charge: $150 per traveler
2) 61-90 days prior to departure date: 25% of trip cost
3) 31-60 days prior to departure date: 50% oftrip cost
4) 30 days or less: No refund
5) There are no refunds for arriving late or leaving early. There are no
partial refunds for any services not used while on your trip.
6) All cancellations must be received in writing by e-mail or registered mail.
If Redback should cancel a trip within 30 days of departure due to low
enrollment, you will receive a full refund. If a trip is canceled within
30 days of departure due to natural disaster, terrorism or civil unrest
you will receive a full refund. Redback is not responsible for expenses
incurred in preparation for any canceled trip, such as non-refundable
airline tickets, or for costs incurred due to travel delays, flight
cancellation or illness.
We offer a traveler's protection plan which covers personal liability,
cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage and personal effects.
Medical/emergency coverage is REQUIRED on all Redback Travels adventure trips and is a condition of booking with us.
The minimum requirement is $50,000 for medical/emergency coverage
including emergency repatriation. You will receive a form along with
your Welcome Package 90 days prior to your trip.
